Recipe of octopus with vegetables cooked in a frying pan

Ingredients

Ingredients for two people:

1 tray of half cooked octopus from el Rey del Pulpo
1 onion
½ red pepper
½ green pepper
1 garlic clove
1 large ripe tomato
Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and sugar

HOW TO PREPARE

  • The first thing to prepare this delicious octopus recipe is to peel and cut the onion and the garlic.
  • Then, poach in a pan with a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil over low heat.
  • Next, clean the peppers. Remove the seeds and wash well; cut and add them to the frying pan. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Take the ripe tomato, peel it and chop it very small. Add to the mixture with a little salt and a pinch of sugar. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
  • Finally, add the octopus from El Rey del Pulpo cut into large pieces and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Now we have everything ready, serve. 
  • You can serve it with baked potatoes.

SOME TIPS TO PREPARE A DELICIOUS OCTOPUS WITH VEGETABLES

Use good raw materials. In this recipe of piperrada octopus we use very few ingredients, so it is very important that their quality is very good.

If you want the peppers to have more flavor, roast the peppers in the oven and add them to the onion and garlic stir-fry.

Instead of the ripe tomato, you can also use a tablespoon of homemade tomato sauce.
