OCTOPUS AND CHEESE ON TOAST RECIPE

Ingredients

Ingredients for 4 servings:

Cooked octopus tentacles, 200g packet el Rey del Pulpo.
Thick slices of bread.
Grated cheese.
Oregano.

Steps

  • To start, we recommend you remove the tentacles from their packaging and put them in a dish to adapt to the room temperature.
  • Cut the bread into slices two fingers thick.
  • Cut the tentacles into slices of the appropriate thickness enable you to savour this dish in all its splendour.
  • Place the slices of bread in an oven tray; if you wish add olive oil to the bread or anoint it with fresh tomato.
  • Leave the tray in the oven at 180 ºC for 10 minutes. Select the programme for both trays to ensure the bread is toasted on both sides.
  • Grate a little Parmesan cheese.
  • Then, remove the tray and place the slices of octopus and the grated cheese on the toast.
  • Add oregano and pepper to taste. Cook au gratin for 5 minutes at 150 ºC.
  • Once the 5 minutes have passed, remove the tray from the oven and spread the grated Parmesan cheese on the toast while it is still hot.
