When choosing an avocado, make sure the skin is not bruised or stained. It has to be a little softâbut not overly soâso that itâs ripe and perfect for making guacamole. You can also buy ready-made guacamole from any supermarket. If you prefer to change the sauce, hereâs an article on sauces that go with octopus really well.
There are several alternatives with regard to the buns. Itâs a good idea to go for rustic burger buns, since the crust will be sturdier, and will be able to hold the octopus burger together.
You can accompany your burger with some baked paprika potato wedges. To do this, slice some potatoes into wedges and boil with a little salt for 5 minutes. Drain.
Mix a splash of extra virgin olive oil, a teaspoon of sweet paprika, oregano, garlic powder and salt together in a bowl. Add the potatoes and stir everything together well.
Transfer to a dish lined with baking parchment and bake at 180 ÂșC for 30 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
